Welcome to Đức Foundation!
Đức Nguyễn immigrated to the United States in 1975. He was an advocate for the Vietnamese community and worked tireless to help his friends and neighbors until an accident in 1994 left him a quadriplegic.
Although we never got to know our grandfather, we know of his impact on the Seattle-area Vietnamese community through the stories passed down to us. Our grandmother teaches us that our actions are seeds sewn for our future generations. We are definitely reaping the rewards sewn by the seeds of our grandparents’ civic engagement. Now it’s our turn to lay the seeds for the generations that follow after us.
